Independent Multiples Pharmacy Practice Awards

AIMp currently have 12 Universities involved in this 3 year programme and we are hoping to engage even further universities in the next academic year.

Athough, many of AIMp members already provide pre-registration opportunites for students, as an Association we would like to strengthen our links with the School of Pharmacies and to this end we are sponsoring a Pharmacy Practise Award to a student at each University who the Head of Pharmacy Practise nominates as having shown excellence in Pharmacy Practice.

Our members are fully engaged in this programme and are supporting us by attending the awards & prize-giving ceremonies on behalf of the Association, for example,

AIMp Member, Corrin McParland of HA McParland Ltd, attended the presentation ceremony at London University on 28 October

The AIMp Independent Multiples Pharmacy Practice Award was presented to Ms Asrah Rasool, which was based on assessment of patient portfolios and reflective practice.  This was presented at the Annual Graduation Ceremony which was held at the Institute of Education in central London.  Over 900 people attended the ceremony where the Chairman of Council, Dr Philip Brown, presented  the prize award.
