MethGuard UK Training Programme
METHGUARD UK TRAINING PROGRAMME
AIMp have made the necessary arrangements to make available the MethGuard UK Training programme. This follows the unanimous decision of members present at the Members Meeting on 12th July, to urge AIMp members and other pharmacists to undertake staff awareness training related to the sale of products containing Pseudoephedrine prior to any decision by the MHRA as to whether these products should be moved from P to POM.
AIMp have now entered into an agreement with LearnSomething in order to facilitate the sale of the MethGuard UK Programme to AIMp members directly.
We are also able to provide access to the MethGuard UK Training programme to non-AIMp members. Any non-AIMp member wishing to undertake this training should contact Diane Moss, General Manager, directly on 07917 118291 or email dmoss@weldricks.co.uk
The programme is available in four options and these are as follows:
- An e-learning programme using a bespoke company portal individual to each company. This option allows larger members to track completions by their staff on a central database, print certificates of completion at the time of training and also to have access to a re-print at any time. In addition, bespoke training with logo branding in the portal and on the course can be included, as can custom policies and procedures of the company concerned.
- E-learning using the AIMp portal for access to the programme. AIMp have established their own portal for access by any AIMp member. The programme will be a generic programme branded for AIMp and will include best practice SOPs if required. The database will be a communal database and AIMp will perform the administrative and reporting functions on behalf of members. This will include the maintaining of a central database, printing of certificates of completion of training and providing future access to individual histories.
- Paperbased Booklets. Printed booklets will be available for despatch to individual members. These booklets contain the basic programme with no customisation but will be branded with the AIMp brand. There will be no electronic tracking of completions on this system.
- CD ROM format. CD-ROMs will be available for distribution to individual members. They will contain the basic programme with no customisations and will be branded with the AIMp brand. Once again, there will be no electronic tracking of completions.
The MethGuard training programme will be available from 22nd August and in order for members to be in a position to commence training immediately, we would ask our members to confirm the option you wish to adopt as soon as possible by email to dmoss@weldricks.co.uk indicating the approximate number of employees to be trained.
