AIMp Ltd is a membership organisation representing the interests of community pharmacy companies with between 5 and 300 branches.
Our objectives are to promote, protect and support the business, political and professional interests of all members through robust representation and negotiation.
The Association is officially recognised as representing independent Multiples by all Bodies in Pharmacy including the Department of Health, other Government Agencies and Professional Bodies such as Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB). In particular we nominate 3 members to sit on the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee (PSNC), and members of our Board also serve on the Board of Management of the National Pharmacy Association (NPA) with whom AIMp has a very close working relationship.
AIMp member companies are represented on the majority of Local Pharmaceutical Committees (LPCs) through positions of right. As a result we are able to share information on the activities of these LPCs and advise on best practice working within individual LPCs
